In the Stavros area of Dafnes, at an altitude of 360 meters, Moschato Spinas is cultivated in sandy‑clay soils that give the variety a bright and pure expression. With 290–300 vines per stremma, the vineyard grows in natural balance, nourished by the radiant Cretan light and the gentle winds that shape the character of the land.
The renewal of the vines every 10–12 years preserves the vitality of the vineyard, while the harvest in early August yields 1000–1100 kilos per stremma. The grapes of Moschato Spinas stand out for the clarity and liveliness of their aromas, with delicate floral and fresh notes that reflect the authenticity of Crete and the distinctive identity of Dafnes.
It is a variety that expresses the Cretan land with finesse — a Cretan white wine of elegance, vibrancy and expressiveness, carrying in every sip the tradition and discreet refinement of the region. A calm, pure voice of the place, captured in the glass
