Our Own Chardonnay
In Megali Vrysi, at an altitude of 590–600 meters where coolness and natural balance define the landscape, Chardonnay finds a place capable of expressing it with purity and finesse. The sandy clay‑loam soil, both rich and airy, offers ideal drainage and steady nourishment, allowing the variety to develop its authentic character without excess.
With 239–300 vines per stremma and yields of 1000–1100 kilos, the vineyard maintains a natural equilibrium that enhances concentration and fruit clarity. The mid‑August harvest captures the ideal moment of ripeness, where freshness meets fullness. Replanting every 10 years ensures vitality, consistency, and enduring quality, keeping the vineyard in constant renewal.
All these factors contribute to the true expression of the variety, resulting in a wine filled with generous aromas of white‑fleshed fruits, subtle citrus notes, and a delicate minerality that reflects both altitude and soil. On the palate, the balance between freshness and structure creates an elegant, harmonious presence with a clean, persistent finish.
