Vidiano
White Dry Wine

Vidiano

A Vidiano with a bright, clean aromatic profile, showing ripe stone‑fruit notes, white flowers, and a subtle mineral touch that adds elegance. On the palate, it is balanced and vibrant, with refreshing acidity that lifts the fruit and a smooth, rounded texture that fills the palate without heaviness. The finish is clean, persistent, and refined, leaving an impression of freshness and precision.

Our Own Vidiano

Our Vidiano comes from the Xerolia region in Dafnes, at an altitude of 400 meters. There, the privileged clay-sandy soils offer the ideal balance: the sand ensures excellent drainage, while the clay retains valuable nutrients, thus offering grapes of excellent quality with rich aromatic and flavor depth. With a low planting density (280–290 vines per stremma) and a controlled yield of 1000–1100 kg per stremma, the vineyard self-regulates, offering a raw material of unrivaled quality.

As this is a variety with a particular sensitivity to the wind, its cultivation requires meticulous care to protect the fruit and keep its delicate aromatic character unscathed. The harvest, taking place in mid-August, captures the variety at its absolute peak of flavor. The result is a Vidiano with exemplary clarity, robust structure, and aromatic precision — a wine that expresses the true character of the variety with absolute authenticity.

Pairing Suggestions

It pairs beautifully with dishes that highlight its freshness and elegance: grilled or steamed fish, seafood with citrus or herb‑driven sauces, crisp salads, soft white cheeses, and light Mediterranean preparations. It also complements vegetable‑based dishes—such as zucchini or artichoke—where its acidity and clarity create a harmonious balance.
