In the area of Amygdalos Dafnon, Heraklion, at an altitude of 320 meters, the Grenache Rouge is cultivated with care and attention. The clay-sandy soils of the region provide warmth, excellent drainage, and ideal conditions, allowing the grapes to ripen in perfect balance and express their finest character.
With a controlled yield of 1000-1100 kilograms per stremma and replanting every 12-15 years, the vineyard maintains its vitality and produces grapes with concentration and natural intensity. The harvest takes place at the end of August, when the grapes have reached optimal maturity.
The result is a bright and elegant Grenache Rouge that showcases the character of its terroir through pure aromas of red fruits, soft texture, and a warm, harmonious finish. A wine with a distinct Cretan identity — noble, balanced, and full of vibrancy.
